Learn the Secrets Guru's Use to Create Low Cost Products

So, after much research, you have figured out what niche market you want to target with your home based business. Now, you aren't sure what product you want to sell. The truth is, the answer is easier to arrive at, and much less expensive to implement than you would imagine. Let's learn the secrets gurus use when creating a product.

In case you are wracking your brain trying to figure this out, relax. In fact, you probably have already guessed it. It's the dreaded ebook! The moaning and groaning is beginning now, but ebooks really aren't that bad! Ebooks have been around for years, but most people in your niche likely will have had only limited experience with them.

Why ebooks? They continue to be cool, and are viewed as cutting edge. They also are easy to create, inexpensive, can be developed quickly, and can be bought while you sleep. It doesn't get much better than that!

Now, the real secret to ebooks is . . . . Drum roll please! DON’T CREATE THEM! Now, if you are a professional writer or just love to write, then this article isn't for you. The rest of you, hang in here! The truth is there are much easier ways to create an ebook than trying to do it yourself. They are:

1. Have someone else do it for you or,

2. Legally steal someone else's book.

There are sites where you can post your projects, and where freelance writers can take a look, and make bids on your projects.

Tips to remember when you go to post your projects include the following:

1. Give as much detail as possible so that freelance writers know exactly what you want. Some writers will be so eager for your project that they will write up a sample chapter based on your information just to get your business. Make sure you also ask the bidder to sign a non-disclosure agreement. This information can be found on the site. You always must register, as well. Buyers can register for free.

2. Always ask bidders for writing examples; otherwise, who knows what fluff you might end up with!

3. Don't ever pay anyone until you have completely reviewed the final product.

With these tips in mind, now on to the second way to create an inexpensive ebook. If you remember, the second secret given was to legally steal someone else's book. How can this be done? The secret is using public domain materials. Anything published before 1923 in the United States is considered public domain. This means that no one owns the copyright of the material, and therefore, anybody can use it.

It gets even better than this. Some books published between 1923 and 1963 may be public domain material if the copyright was not renewed by the 28th year. To be on the safe side, it always advisable to consult a copyright attorney before publishing any work you might find. That said, there are membership sites on the web that have done all the work for you! You just pay a small monthly fee and get lots of great public domain material.

After you get your original book, you will want to have it scanned in digital format. When looking for a company to do this for you, keep these important points in mind:

1. Make sure they do not destroy the original book. The book needs to be returned to you.

2. The company needs to do more than just scan the book. The work has to be editable so you can add your own introduction.

3. There needs to be a week's turn around.

4. Work is kept confidential.

5. The fees are not unreasonable. Examples of approximate prices are:

1-100 pages-$100
101-300 pages-$150
301-500 pages-$200
501+Pages-$250

Now you know the secrets the gurus use to create low cost products for their niche markets. Your home based business can now explode!

If you still find this a bit daunting...imagine having the content of your ebook provided for you!

How to Create an Ebook On a Budget

Have you ever stopped to think about all the eBooks you see offered for sale on the Internet? Obviously people are buying them or there would not be so many. Their subject matter ranges from "How To Make a Baby Stop Crying", "How to Train Your Poodle", and "How to Catch Catfish", to serious Internet Marketing subjects.

Perhaps you have realized that eBooks can mean big bucks for those who produce and market them successfully, and maybe you have even toyed with the idea of creating one yourself. But, then you began to realize that there could be a few drawbacks. How do you begin? Buy software? Hire someone to put your articles into a PDF file for a price? And, what about the eBook cover? That has to be expensive as well...

Once you find the right subject, you may be able to afford to have an eBook cover created for you by someone who has the software already, and they will charge for it. But, the monetary rewards are well worth it if you can just create a PDF document yourself in a subject that will sell well. You probably think it is an expensive endeavor and you will have a hard time learning to use some strange new software.

What if you were told that you could create an eBook PDF for... FREE!

Yes, Free! And the ability to do so has been around for quite some time.

Most of the Gurus will never mention it because they want to sell you the software that will do the same thing!

The resource being referred to here is called Open Office (a free multi-platform office suite that, in many peoples' opinion, is better than MS Office) and it is available - FREE - at www.openoffice.org/ The reason this is free is because it is "Open Source". That means that anyone can try to add, improve, or otherwise make the end product work better (if you have the proper skills, of course) and no one actually owns the copyright or license on it.

This looks, feels and functions much like any word processing program you have used, only it has more...much more. You have the ability to save the text in many different platforms. You can even save the document as an MS Word document and open it in that program. What is important here, though, is the fact that you can save the document as a PDF. That's right! It has a built-in PDF Converter! If you were to search on the Internet right now for a PDF Converter program, you would find that it can cost much more than you want to pay, especially since you can get it for Free with Open Office.

Now that you have Open Office downloaded and see how easy it is to enter text, add pictures, and add hyper-links to the document, as well as save it in PDF form, you need to actually begin creating your eBook. It takes several steps to create an eBook, and finding the right method to create it is only the first part of the process. Now you actually have to decide what kind of eBook you want to create.

Step #1. Decide Your Subject Matter

First, you must choose a subject for your eBook. The best place to start is to choose a subject that you know a great deal about. Realize that your subject also has to pass the test of popularity, or you will have no one willing to buy it. Very few people will buy an eBook about how to make a chicken go into a trance!

Go to ClickBank's Marketplace and put a keyword into the search box that is the most relevant to your subject, and see which are the most popular eBooks on that subject. If you come up with less than five or six results, that kind of eBook probably will not sell very well. Keep using this method until you find a subject with at least a dozen results that are sold more than 50% of the time through affiliate referrals. Those are the subjects that sell the best and can be successfully promoted.

Step #2. Gather Information and Make An Outline

Begin to search on the Internet for more information on your chosen subject to supplement your own knowledge (you will be surprised at how much you do not know sometimes).

Now make an outline of how you want to present your information. Start with the logical 'what, why, and how' categories of your subject, and then break it into sub-categories.

One very important caution here: Do not assume that everyone else has the same level of knowledge on your subject as you do. Never try to sell an eBook that basically "starts in the middle." If the author/creator decides to leave out the most basic information from an eBook, which the new reader may not know, it makes the eBook unusable to that buyer. This kind of mistake leads to an unhappy buyer who will demand a refund. Just one more paragraph or page of explanation could cure that problem. It is better to let someone who knows the basics of the subject already to feel that you added the 'extra' information as a 'filler' than have someone request a refund.

Step #3. Now Decide on A Heading

What? Shouldn't that be the first thing to do? No, and here is the reason why... Until you gather all of your information and start putting the outline together, the actual heading my need to change if you decide to emphasize a different point than originally planned. Also, creating a heading first forces the author to try to fit the article to the heading. This has a limiting effect on the article which could have evolved more naturally had it waited until the outline was finished.

Step #4. Add Graphics and Pictures to Enhance the eBook

Yes, you do need some colorful graphics and/or pictures to add interest to the eBook and break the monotony of the text. Do not, however, use large graphics and pictures as 'fillers.' The graphics should be appropriate and not take up half of the page. If you have too large, or too many pictures and not enough information of real value, you may find yourself handing out refunds as a result.

Step #5. Create the Actual eBook in Open Office

Type up your text, add pictures and graphics, and then proof-read your document over and over. Be sure to check spelling and grammar. Nothing is worse than reading an eBook with incomplete sentences, poor spelling, and improper grammar that your third grade child could point out.

Once you have done all of the above and are satisfied with your work, you should save it as a PDF Document.

Now all you need to do is figure out if you want to pay someone to create an eBook cover, or if you want to buy the software to do it yourself. This will be your only expense using this method of eBook creation.

If you have followed all the advice and all the steps above, then, Congratulations! You just created an eBook on a budget!

I hope you have found this information useful and you now feel confidnet about creating your first ebook on a budget.

To make it even easier...imagine having the content of your ebook provided for you!

3 Things You Must Include in Your Next Ebook or Report

Many people are now using ebooks and reports to promote their business.

Sometimes those reports are aimed at turning the reader into a subscriber; sometimes to turn the reader into a customer; and sometimes to turn the reader into a purchaser of an affiliate product.

But whatever the reason you are writing an ebook or report, there are three things you should include every time:

1. A resources section

Let's say your ebook is about dog-training, and aimed at convincing the reader to join your membership site on dog training tips. Well, as well as writing about your site, you could also include other useful resources:

* Other sites that they might find useful
* Other reports or ebooks that they might find useful
* Details of some of the best newsletters on dog training
* Links to Amazon for books or DVDs on dog training

And so on. And of course, any of these could be your products, affiliate products, or just normal links to normal sites.

If your ebook or report is rebrandable, you might even want to include details of the rebranding software that you're using, with your affiliate link on it.

2. A "freebies" section .

As well as reading the report or ebook, let the reader know about other freebies they can get from you. These could be in return for joining your mailing list (if they have not already joined when they downloaded the report), or just a way of saying "thanks" to new subscribers.

Again, these freebies might include affiliate links or links to your own products. They might also be viral tools you use to promote your site, such as rebrandable ebooks.

Or maybe you have a free "dog training hints" newsletter which offers small snippets of information based on your membership site. And you then use the newsletter to convert free subscribers into paying customers.

3. A "work in progress" section .

Do you have other sites that are perhaps not related to dog-training? Share those as well, in case some of your readers are interested.

Do you have forthcoming products that you want to promote (perhaps a dog-training DVD set to complement your membership site)? Write a little bit about those, and point readers to a lead-capture page for that product.

Maybe you're interested in surveying readers of the report - let them know about the survey so that you can get some more feedback.

There you go, three things you can include in your report or ebook to help further promote you, your business, and your products.

You CAN Write Your Own eBook

Have you ever thought of writing your own eBook?

Since you are reading this, we can presume you have.

If not, you need to start thinking about it now.

Why?

Because, this is where you can start to make serious money.

We are talking £100s per month.

Now I bet you're thinking, I have nothing to write about?

Nonsense... I bet by the time you read this page you will have about 10 eBook ideas in your head, why? because I'm going to show you.

Even if you can't write, I will show you how to create your own info product.

I am going to show you how to create your own eBook, one that you own the copyright to and no one else.. Your own eBook can bring you in thousands a month eventually.

This is serious money... Your own self written ‘INFO PRODUCT’ will be in huge demand!!!

It will create you a permanent income with financial security.

There are 2 ways to sell your eBook. With or without resale rights.

I am going to show you the benefits of both then decide for yourself which way you want to go.

The best method I have found is to sell a low priced eBook with resale rights that generate sales of your high priced eBooks without resale rights. Along with the eBooks on the site I recommend below you will be bringing in £100s per month.

OK first we will start by stating the benefits of selling an eBook with resale rights.

These will generate sales of all your products in your eBay store, and your eBook website, plus you will earn commission through affiliate links.

What's an affiliate link I hear you say?

An affiliate link is where you send a visitor to a website, then if the visitor goes on to make a purchase from that website you earn a commission, this can be as much as 75%.

Many links in my eBooks link to eBay. Now you may not realise this but they are affiliate links. If you then go on to bid or buy an item anywhere on eBay I will earn a commission. Usually only a few pennies but if it's an eBook getting viewed a few times a day it soon mounts up.

But it's not just the links to eBay that can earn you money. If I were selling you a gambling product and I gave you a list of gambling websites and you joined any of these sites I could earn up to £40 per sale.

Or you could be an expert gardener selling an eBook on gardening. In this book you would provide links to gardening websites for people to buy their plants and tools from.

Or you could be selling a health eBook linking to health websites.

I'm sure you get the picture now.

For more info on affiliates visit cj.com this is the leading affiliate website and it is worldwide based.

Now lets say for example you are selling an eBook on 'how to play poker' you would include a link to poker websites. Some will offer as much as £100 just for joining. In your eBook you would mention these sites that the visitor would go to and get 'free chips', when they sign up you would receive your commission which can be as much as £40 per site registration.

Now here's where the beauty of resale rights comes in!

You sell an eBook with resale rights, now most people who buy it will also be thinking of reselling it. Imagine after a few Months how many people will be looking at your eBook. Even if only 1% were to sign up for a poker website you would be earning some serious money. And this is for only one product. This product will never expire because it will always be getting sold on eBay by other users. It will continue to earn you money for years to come.

These are the benefits of selling an eBook with resale rights.

Also, the point of any eBook you sell with resale rights is to get people to buy your high priced items.

Now what about selling an eBook without resale rights.

These are totally different and these are what earn the big money.

These product are unique to YOU. This means you can charge a much higher price for it!

This is where most people give up. They think they cannot write about anything

But please don't think you cant write about anything because you can. To write an eBook is easy, you just need to do some research and sell the info. Here are a few examples.

You or someone you know is a travel agent, ask them how you would go about getting a cheap holiday. Do some research on the internet and there you have it. An eBook on how to save money on your next holiday.

Maybe you have just got married. How about an eBook on how to plan the perfect wedding.

Maybe you have a hobby collecting antiques. People would pay to know how to go about buying and selling antiques for profit... Get the picture. The list is endless.

However, by far the best sellers are usually about the following:-

1, Getting things for free

2, Gambling

3, Making Money

4, Saving money

5, Improving your health

6, Working from Home

7, eBay

8, "How to" guides

9, Learning a new skill

10, Improve appearance

11, To be entertained

12, Have a better lifestyle

13, How to solve a problem - any problem

Now you don't need to be an expert in any of these fields to write an eBook on any of the above subjects.

You just need to do some research and compile all the info to create your own product. Plus you can still have affiliate links in these products. However, this is not where you will make most of your money from.

You will make money from these products because you will be selling them for at least £10 or more.

If you look at the business and information categories on eBay you will see loads of people telling you how you can make money from gambling and starting your own business, Most of the successful sellers will be selling their own product at a high price. The reason it sells at a high price is because only they are selling it. It is their own unique product not available anywhere else.

This is where you create your own unique product.

Remember - your product is only available from you.

This is why people will pay big money for your product. You must tell people they cannot get it anywhere else.

So how do you Write your own UNIQUE INFO PRODUCT, and sell it?

YOU CAN USE EXISTING EBOOKS AND THE INTERNET FOR YOUR RESEARCH.

YOU WILL NOT BE COPYING THEM BECAUSE THAT IS ILLEGAL.

Research anything you like on the subject from the internet, or buy an eBook, get the main facts from it and add your own thoughts and ideas. If you read the eBook and do your own research then write an eBook of your own on the same subject then there’s no infringement of copyright.

You can legitimately sell it as your own work. Because it IS.

This is the secret of producing and writing your own valuable eBook and selling it on your own EBAY AUCTION or eBook website.

As soon as you adapt and improve all this excellent information, it will instantly become YOURS. You will now own the copyright including SOLE rights over the eBook.

You, being the copyright owner, are fully entitled to sell... sell... sell and sell again.

Therefore your unique eBooks will also sell for a much higher price. They will easily sell for over £10 a time. Your product will be in huge demand because no one will be able to get it anywhere else. There are countless eBooks out there for research, many of them FREE. You can create money out of NOTHING.

Set yourself up for life. You could sell at £5 each and people will run over each other to get a new unseen before eBook for £5 on eBay. You will be the only person selling this so they will have to pay whatever price you ask. If you only charge £5 however and sell three a day this will bring in £100 a week. For a unique eBook on eBay this is not a problem if it’s done correctly.

OK so where do you start?

Find your subject.

Take a look at the eBay featured auctions in the information and business categories and look for info products.

Go to a listing and watch the item till it ends. If the seller has loads of buyers you just know that it is a good seller. If the eBook is reasonably priced buy it and use for your research. You now have your subject.

Write your eBook using a program such as Microsoft word or FrontPage.
Go to your own favourite search Engine and find more relevant info on the subject. Try to type the eBook from scratch, that way it's all your own work.

When you think you have enough relevant information for your eBook...usually at least 10 pages but of course the more pages.. .the better the value and of course you can charge all the more, you can add pictures, bold text, links to other websites etc to make it interesting.

Use all the good information that’s been given to you. You will need to spend a while researching your eBook. The eBook only needs to be between 10 and 20 pages long to sell for between £5 and £30.

Try to include links to relevant sites that can add more information to the info included in the eBook, these can be affiliate links that will earn you even more.

Also maybe add a few relevant free ebooks that they would be able to resell. It makes the package bigger and more value for money. After all, there is plenty on the site below, give a few away to create a 'package' Just as long as they know that they cannot resell yours.

If you have any websites or any other product to sell use a link. You could get more sales from it. Always have an affiliate link to your eBay store.

You are almost finished.

Compiling your eBook
You now have to convert your word file to an eBook using either an eBook compiler or converting them to .pdf (portable document format) . The best programme for this is the Adobe Acrobat writer programme as most PC’s have Adobe Acrobat Reader already on their PC . You can also security password it so no one can edit it or steal it by copying it.

There are some FREE or low cost services that can convert your Word or any word processor document to pdf format for you.
Such as:
www.openoffice.org/ (Recommended)
http://www.primopdf.com/
http://www.pdf995.com/
http://www.gohtm.com/

You could sell it as a word file but as there is no security. Word to pdf is by far the easiest route to take. You only have to convert your document to pdf format once.
You can also download other types of eBook compilers from the net. Mostly free and have good security. Just do a search for eBook creators on the internet.

List your eBook on eBay.
Follow the instructions on the site below, get the title right and spend time getting the listing looking right. Try to use a HTML editor or try using some of the templates on this site for ideas, your listing must look good in order to sell.

If you want to become an Ebay Powerseller quickly and easily by selling Ebooks, let an expert give you all the help and guidance you need by clicking on the link below

Pricing.....

This is totally up to you and as a guide never sell your unique eBook too cheaply unless your going to grant resale rights, if you don't grant resale rights you must price your eBook at a minimum price of £4.99, however, I would price higher, at least £9.99 for the first time just in case you have created a best seller, you never know till you launch it.

Once you have got back your eBay listing fees you are in profit because the eBook costs you nothing to produce... How many businesses can say that their stock costs nothing.... So Price it at £5 and sell just 3 per day and you’ve got your £100 a week profit to start. Once it’s up and running start again and create your second eBook.

Remember! There is no price that can be placed on what you know. You now have to create the eBook and pass that wealth of knowledge on. Its so easy. What is needed are new ideas all the time. YOUR IDEAS.

If your eBook can help push people on by giving them your invaluable knowledge, you’ve got a topic for a successful hugely profitable eBook.

If you want to get an idea for your next eBook think about what you do best:
- What skill do you have that you are especially proud of?
- Does your job involve skills that you could pass on to others?
- What are your hobbies?

Now, how would you communicate that skill to someone else? Write down what you just thought of and you have the outline for your next eBook.

Share your unique knowledge with the world today and make a great living from it.

...Just as I am doing.

People are out there waiting to buy your product. Don't miss out.

Remember! You only have to write your eBook once and then it can be sold over and over and over again.

So there you have it. Your own money making machine. I urge you to try it and see for yourself, once you start typing your first eBook you will find it hard to stop. To go with resell or not resell rights is your decision. However, if you feel the product you are selling is strong I would not grant resale rights and price it high.

One more thing, don't think you can't do it and don't think your eBook won't sell.

If you think like that you will get nowhere.

Information is the biggest seller on the internet. Think about it, when you log onto the internet what are you looking for? Information. You need to provide the information and start making money from it.

You can do it! Good luck.

10 Must Know's Before You Write An Ebook

Below to will see ten rules you should implement before you attempt to write your own ebook.

Rule Number 1, You must have a good knowledge of your ebook subject. It is better to write an ebook about a subject you have a wide knowledge of. If you attempt to write an ebook when you have very little knowledge of the contents, your ebook will fail.

Rule Number 2, Ensure you know your subject inside and out! Remember the Internet has a wealth of information so research your chosen subject thoroughly.

Rule Number 3, What is the main goal of your ebook? What is your sole purpose for writing this ebook? Is it to sell thousands of copies? Will the ebook be a source of driving traffic to your website? Or, are you will the ebook be utilised for gaining subscribers?
Its important to focus entirely your main goal for this ebook. Do not deviate from this goal, If you try to use your ebook to achieve too many goals then it will achieve none of the goals. If you find that your ebook has more than one goal or purpose, split the content and write several ebooks instead.

Rule Number 4, What will be your ebook title? If you have an ebook title in mind, put it aside for a moment and come up with at least another 5 possible titles for your ebook. Now look at your list of possible titles and choose the title that has the best call to action. Call to action title words can be Stop, Now, Discover, Imagine and so on.

Rule Number 5, What graphics will be included with your ebook? When writing a how to ebook guide are you intending to use screen-shots to make the ebook easier to understand. If your ebook will be on the subject of cooking will you be including pictures of completed food dishes? Its a proven technique that when writing an ebook too much text can bore the reader. Use images to break it up the monotony. Its also important to think of your ebook ecover image, I highly recommend you get a professional ecover design to put the finishing touches to your new ebook.

Rule Number 6, What rights will you offer with your ebook? Ebooks now come with "rights" these can be in the form of Resell, Private Label, Free and Giveaway rights. Resell/Resale rights allow the ebook seller to resell the ebook, but the resell rights do not transfer to the buyer. Your ebook contents cannot be changed or copied. Master Resell Rights allow both the seller and buyer to resell the ebook. Again, the ebook must not be copied or changed in anyway. Private Label Rights allow the buyer to brand your ebook themselves and claim to be the author. If you allow "Unrestricted" Private Label Rights then the buyer can also sell your ebook with private label rights. Giveaway Rights are as stated the ebook must be given away and not sold.
There are advantages to allowing your ebook to be resold. Your ebook can become "viral" which means the more times your ebook gets sold, the more your links in your ebook will be seen.

Rule Number 7, How much are you going to charge for your ebook? Puting a price on your ebook can be a tough choice. You have to find a happy medium. Study similar content ebooks and observe the prices they are selling for. You could buy copies of competitors ebooks and compare their contents with your ebook. Another option is to offer your subscribers your ebook at different prices, then ask purchasers their opinion on your ebook with regard to value for money.

Rule Number 8, What format will your ebook be available in? The main two formats ebooks are currently available in are compiler software and adobe pdf format.
Using ebook compiler software can exclude many buyers who are wary of spyware/viruses contained in an executionable program, and MAC PC users cannot access ebooks compiled in executionable format.
Adobe Acrobat PDF format is installed on many new computers so readily available for buyers to read your ebook, and Adobe also provide a free download for Adobe PDF Reader.

Rule Number 9, Will you include web links in your ebook? When you are writing your ebook you should include your website url at the end, if the reader enjoyed your ebook they may want to visit your website. You may also included affiliate links if you feel they will benefit the reader.

Rule Number 10, How will you promote your ebook? You will need to devise a marketing plan for your ebook's release. You could give away free copies or leak a free chapter from your ebook. Why not use Press Release websites to announce the impending launch of your ebook.
If you use implement these 10 rules, you should have the basis for writing a great ebook.
